Our horses are chosen for their individual temperaments and qualities and for the safety they offer. We produce horses and cobs for all levels and abilities, from safe hacking horses to county level show horses and top class riding club horses and ponies.

Although school work is an important part of their education, our horses are mainly produced out hacking, allowing them to experience and see the hazards of everyday life, including heavy traffic, open spaces, local shows events and hunting. With the limited time available to many riders we feel that this is the most important part of their training – and the most fun!

Working daily in a school environment can often create a feeling of false security for the rider and many horses can become sour or switch off. In fact, all of our show horses past and present have been produced with hacking being the most important part of their training. We believe our horses should develop and progress naturally, allowing them to gain confidence which will only benefit their riders.

Our horses are honestly described and we endeavour to match horses and rider. Please be as honest about your ability and what you expect from your horse as you possibly can, as it helps us do our job properly. Trainers and advisors are welcome and all our horses are open to vetting. Transport can be arranged, please ask for details.

We also offer a part, full, sales livery service and also arrange “Horse Ownership” days for first time horse owners or for anyone wanting a bit of help.
